Frazer, Evangelista & Company, LLC with the help of its employees has established a philosophy of giving back to the community through various volunteering efforts. We support the following organizations and foundations:

The New Jersey Society of CPAs
Ralph Evangelista currently volunteers as a Scholarship Fund Trustee. The New Jersey Society of CPAs Scholarship Fund has grown to become the largest professional scholarship program in New Jersey. The mission of the Scholarship Fund is to attract the best and the brightest of New Jersey students into the accounting profession; to encourage students from diverse fields to pursue an advanced education in accountancy; and, to increase awareness about the opportunities provided by a CPA career path.

The New Jersey Society of CPAs – Tax-Season Call-In Volunteers
The society in conjunction with The Asbury Park Press hosts an annual public forum where callers can seek answers to their tax questions. An article then features the participants and the most frequently asked questions.

News 12 New Jersey – Tax Help Line
Ralph J. Evangelista, CPA participated in the local news program’s Tax Help Line. Ralph was among six CPAs that were on hand to answer caller’s questions regarding their tax returns. The CPAs were then interviewed regarding the more common issues.

Friends of Middlesex County Adult Substance Abuse Program
A program, established in 2001, dedicated to giving drug-dependent inmates at the Middlesex County Adult Correctional Facility an opportunity to make their incarceration productive through volunteer programs to help them deal with their additions.

The graduates of the program have gone on to long-term rehabilitation programs and many have been reintegrated with society, the workplace and their families.

U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program
Their mission is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted. Our New Brunswick office hosted a drop off location in order to collect gifts from the community as well as those donated by the staff members.

East Brunswick Baseball League
Our company has been proud to sponsor a team for the past several years. We believe in promoting teamwork as well as physical activity for our local youth.

Wounded Warrior Project
Staff members have participated in fundraising for this worthy cause that provides a voice for wounded warriors and their families.

NJ 101.5 Family Adoption
During the 2010 holiday season we adopted a local family through NJ 101.5, a local radio station, in order to make their holiday dreams come true. The company and staff members donated gifts and money in order to fulfill the wish list of the members of our adopted family.

Rutgers Claus Project
This project similar to the NJ 101.5 Family Adoption is yet another cause that our staff members and firm have donated to.

Make a Smile Foundation
This charitable organization hosts an annual Shopping Spree and Holiday Party for local underprivileged children. They partner with Toys for Tots and Target Corporation, in addition to the many local volunteers and donors who make the program a success.

Knights of Columbus – Council # 7250 of Milltown
The Knights of Columbus have a 119 year tradition of service and are involved in numerous programs and projects directed to benefit individuals of every background. Council # 7250 of Milltown utilizes this philosophy to donate to charitable works in our community. Frazer, Evangelista & Company, LLC has sponsored a dart board in their annual Dart Tournament for the past several years.

Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure
Staff members have participated in the “Race for the Cure” in memory of loved ones who were affected by breast cancer.

Walk MS
Staff members have joined in and walked to help raise critical funds that support cutting edge research, drive change through advocacy, facilitate professional education and provide programs and services to help people with MS move their lives forward.

Covenant House
This organization is dedicated to serving children with absolute respect and unconditional love, to help suffering homeless kids, and to protect and safeguard all children in need. We have supported them through donations of cash and much needed items.

The New Jersey Society of CPA’s – Pay It Forward Program
An outreach program developed by the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants which gives the high school students across the state insights into the wide range of opportunities available in an accounting career.

Girl Scouts
Girl scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character. We support our local troops through participation and support of their fundraising efforts.

Salvation Army’s New Brunswick Corps
Established in 1882, this location has been committed to serving the whole person, body, mind and spirit, with integrity and respect, using creative solutions to positively transform lives. Our financial support is given with the hope of perpetuating this commitment.

American Red Cross
The Red Cross is one of several community organizations that works together to respond to disasters. Our staff has generously donated to this worthwhile cause.

Milltown Public Schools
We participated in a holiday program that enabled us to provide gifts anonymously to local underprivileged children and make their holiday wishes come true.

Soldiers in Iraq
As an office we sent care packages to our soldiers, while they were on active duty in Afghanistan, in order to provide them with a few comforts of home. As a thank you, they sent us an actual flag flown from one of their helicopters on a recon mission in support of Operation Enduring Freedom!

Veteran Fast Launch Initiative
Our firm as a member of the AICPA has agreed to volunteer our time and expertise in helping veterans start up a new business. Veterans can access information on this initiative by going to: http://vetsfastlaunch.org/
